I have a S/C S2000 here. It was very sick, making a whole 85 wkw and a bad misfire @ 6k rpm...... Removed the air filter.... it completely collapsed!!! Replaced the filter, now back to 230wkw....

Some times small things are overlooked. my bike wouldnt start and i changed plugs everything, turned out i forgot a cloth in the intake side of the carb. hahahahhahaha
|

OEM S2000 filter is a paper cone filter... like a K&N, just made of paper.

I have seen BMC filters collapse and tear aswell. THe best filter i have used is a midas elcheeepo..... that chinese s**t is made strong!

i was there when this car was on the dyno... all i can say is DAMN THAT CAR GOT SOME SERIOUS POWER ON A VERY LOW BOOST!!
